Her Story
Your best chapter isn’t behind you.
I started my career in door-to-door sales.
It wasn’t glamorous, but I loved it. I loved the challenge, the competition, and knowing that the harder I worked, the better I could get.
Within a year, everything changed.
At 19, I went from selling door to door to running the company.
Suddenly, I was interviewing, hiring, and training people, leading sales meetings, coaching teams, bringing in clients, meeting with marketing directors and paying the rent on my own office.
I was 19 years old learning, in real time, what it meant to run a business and be responsible for the people inside it.
I was also public speaking in front of hundreds, sometimes thousands, of people and walking into rooms where I was often the youngest person there and one of the only women.
I had to learn how to find my voice before I fully knew who I was.
How to command a room.
How to sell an idea.
How to lead people older than me.
And how to trust that I belonged there.
And while I was building a career, I was also building something else without realizing it:
My identity.
Over the next two decades, I took those skills into recruiting and sales leadership.
I became a top salesperson, a director, a coach, and a mentor, and helped build a recruiting company that grew to $600+ million.
I built teams. I developed salespeople. I coached leaders. I worked with clients. And through all of it, I learned what motivates people, what holds them back, and what makes people genuinely want to follow a leader.
With time, my definition of leadership changed too.
At 19, leadership meant having the confidence to walk into the room.
At 46, it means knowing how to read the room.
I know when to speak and when to listen. I know how to have difficult conversations. I know how to meet people where they are. And I know how to lead with empathy and emotional intelligence, understanding that people don’t all need the same thing from you.
I’ve learned that the strongest person in the room doesn’t have to be the loudest. That leadership isn’t about a title. And that getting people to follow you is very different from becoming the kind of leader people want to follow.
Then, at 46, I found myself at the beginning again.
But there’s something very different about starting again now than there was at 19.
At 19, I was building my confidence.
At 46, I’m building with it.
Back then, I was learning how to prove myself.
Now, I don’t need to.
I know who I am.
I know what I’m good at. I know what I bring to the table. I know what I still have to learn. And I know that every room I’ve walked into, every team I’ve led, every person I’ve coached, every win, every failure, and every lesson comes with me into whatever I build next.
That is the beauty of reinvention at this stage of life.
We are not starting from scratch. We are starting with experience.
Today, I’m building again, new businesses, new ideas, a new platform, a new community, and in many ways, a new version of my life.
And my definition of winning has changed too.
At 19, winning was about achievement. Being the best. Proving I could do it.
At 46, winning looks different.
It’s knowing who I am outside of a title. It’s building something that actually means something to me. It’s taking care of my body and my mind. It’s having the freedom to decide what I want my life to look like.
And it’s knowing that I can be ambitious without losing myself in the process.
That’s why I created this space for women.
Because so many of us reach a point where we realize the life that got us here may not be the life we want for the next chapter.
Our bodies change. Our priorities change. Careers shift. Relationships evolve. Confidence gets tested.
And we start asking bigger questions about who we are, how we want to feel, how we want to live, and what we still want to build.
I created the Mind · Body · Spirit Collective™ for women who know they are not done yet.
A place to bring all of it together—wellness, movement, mindset, confidence, ambition, leadership, beauty, community, and the courage to build whatever comes next.
Because I don’t believe our biggest years have to happen in our 20s or 30s.
Sometimes the most powerful chapter begins when experience finally catches up with confidence. ✨
We rise together.
